Get ready for judgement day!
All projects are due by 2:00 PM PST today. After that time you will not be able to update your project on Devpost, so get it all done by 2 PM.
- Complete the project submission for, including What it does, Inspiration, How we built it, etc.
- Have your source code in a public github repo
- If you cannot present in person or over Zoom at 2:00 PM you must submit a video of your presentation. The video must be no longer than 5 minutes, demo your project, and cover the 6 judging criteria.

Beta software rules update
We discussed internally the restriction regarding beta software use and we decided to remove that restriction. The idea was that the project solutions are to be made available on github in public repositories. As long as everything used in your project is available to the public and there is no legal restriction making the solution available to the public, you are eligible.
The rules have been updated as follows:
we cannot accept submissions that use proprietary or internally available non-public components.

Join with Zoom video conference
Last year we had a bit of trouble using Skype to play videos and do presentations so this year we are going to try Zoom. If you are remote and will participate via videoconference make sure to have Zoom installed before we start at 9 AM PST tomorrow and certainly have it ready before 2 PM on Monday for the presentations to the judges.

We have finalized the prizes for Hack the Map 3. There is one overall winning team, the team that earns the highest score from the judges, and first and second place winners in each of the 3 categories: Civic, Consumer, and Enterprise.
Overall winner: $25.00 Amazon gift card to each team member (up to 6.)
First place civic: choose one item from Esri swag: messenger bag, t-shirt, tumbler, pint glass, or tote bag.
