Beta software rules update

We discussed internally the restriction regarding beta software use and we decided to remove that restriction. The idea was that the project solutions are to be made available on github in public repositories. As long as everything used in your project is available to the public and there is no legal restriction making the solution available to the public, you are eligible.

The rules have been updated as follows:

we cannot accept submissions that use proprietary or internally available non-public components.

For example, our Runtime AR/VR beta is available to the public as long as you sign up to register for it. That is acceptable in the hackathon.

We hope this update encourages more use of our AR/VR. Happy hacking!
